Silbury Hill has always been a source of mystery, fascination and wild theories for archaeologists and druids alike. The 1000ft man-made monument has loomed over the Wiltshire countryside for over 4,000 years. Since 1776 individuals and collectives have attempted to excavate Silbury Hill almost to the point of collapse without finding any clues to it's original purpose, Whether it's the final resting place of the mythical warrior King Sil or an ancient water purification system, a ban on future excavations means we are unlikely to unlock it's secrets anytime soon.
